Teren's parents were beatnik free-thinking Artists that lived on a rustic farm in upstate New York. Consequently, as soon as Teren was old enough to hop the train, he became a juvenile delinquent running free, skating the streets of NYC. A true urban-legend, his crew featured as background players in Larry Clark's KIDS, Teren fell in with the roughest of Manhattan crowds, the fashion industry. Standing there, in front of the camera - Flash! - one thing was clear to Teren, the fun, as far as he could see, was on the other side of the camera. So Teren bought himself a camera (the first of many) and he began to explore. What started as a whim to 'document his crazy life' became a passion, a mission, and ultimately the biggest part of his crazy life. These days, Teren lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife and baby. His work has appeared in national magazines and Art galleries, and his beatnik parents would be very proud of him.

Teren's photographs have appeared in:
Guess? L'Uomo Vogue, Italian Vogue,
Palmer Snowboards, Garrard Jewellery, Lifetime Television,
Apparel News, Husk Magazine MTV,
Various recording artists and clothing line campaigns.
